Just sitting in God’s presence.

Sometimes all I need to do is sit in your presence and feel your love wash all over me. A feeling that NO human being could ever give to me. Your love is different. It is deep and gives me a distinct feeling all over me. I feel like you cleanse me and you do. You let your love and mercy wash over me. God you show me things in this life that truly matters. It brings tears to my eyes to know how I live my life, but you still choose to love me. I do not deserve you. I deserve a burning furnace. I am no better than anyone else but still you love me. I will never understand how much you love me, not until I am in YOUR kingdom. This place is my temporary home and when I come home to you I can only imagine the love that will fill my spirit. God when I sit and think about you i remember my purpose. I remember that you gave me a purpose and it is different from every other. every purpose is unique. I really do know mine. I’m beginning to plant seeds Father. I’m beginning to place your love in the gaps in the hearts that surround me. YOU are my reason for breathing and without you I would not have a reason to live. My heart ACHES for YOU.

Working Camp today…

So today was our first spring camp and it was awesome! I got to see how fun coaching can be and working with people. It helped me realize how much I want to be a coach and how important my experience here at Western is! I’m so thankful for the chance to play D1 softball and I think before today I had been taking it for granted. 

I’m No Quitter, I’m a Go Getter… So spring practice has taken its toll this week at WKU. It has been a pretty good week.. nothing but softball. Practice has been surprisingly fun and I’m pretty pumped to start games. Hoping for a Sunbelt Conference Championship this 2012 season!! We definitely deserve it.. we have been going hard since the beginning of fall, killing ourselves working out and practicing! Now we are just making things perfect on the field and at the plate.
